cascade, you lovely garden

bloom, spray, flower and fall

—fume, red rose — dream,

a molecule teardrop, wet, glistening,

lies dewy on the blades of earthly grass

cascade, you lovely garden —

weep for eyes that cannot see

the beauty of your fading
